Marine Life
Around the waters of Hestan are found various fish including dogfish, mackerel, seabass, pipefish, flounder and basking shark.

Other marine animals occasionally seen around Hestan include dolphin, porpoise, octopus, seals and otters - although these are usually a rare sight. The photo on the left is believed to be a porpoise spine which was found on Hestan's western shore.

In summer months, the island can often be surrounded by vast swarms of jellyfish.
